Our 12-year-old Schnauzer has had serious blood sugar issues for the past two years and we struggled to keep her glucose levels under 500. This is Gabriel.....he’s 15. About a year ago the vet noticed a growth in his mouth on the left side and it grew rapidly. It was in the jawbone so surgery was not an option. Our 12 year old Dalmatian, Bella, was diagnosed with Cushing's a year ago. Cushing’s disease in dogs develops when their own body overproduces cortisol.
